Sonya Peters
Sonya G. Peters was born in Canada and worked as a graphic designer after completing a Diploma of Applied Arts in Illustration at SheridanCollege, Ontario before moving to Australiain 1991. Sonya has since completed a Bachelor of Fine Art with First class Honours and a Master of Visual Art at Queensland College of Art, Gold Coast, where she is now teaching.

Susan Simonini
Susan Simonini was born in Brisbane in 1968 and has been based on the Gold Coast for the past 20 years. She has been exhibiting locally and interstate for the past decade and recently graduated with a Degree in Fine Art from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, where she was awarded the Fine Art Medal and the Godfrey Rivers Memorial Medal. She has been a finalist in several awards, including The Churchie, the CPM Printmaking Award, the Artworkers Award and in 2007 won the Border Art Prize and the painting section of the Gold Coast Art and Design Awards. Susan’s screen prints and paintings are held in numerous private and public collections including the Gold Coast City Art Gallery, the Mater Children’s Hospital and The Anglican Church Grammar School, Brisbane.
