Congratulations to third year Bachelor of Digital Media students Kate Tiggelman and Dixie Edwards, who took out two of the five 1K Griffith Innovation Challenge prizes at the awards ceremony last night.
Their graphic design lecturer Dominique Falla was on hand to accept the awards on their behalf and she plans to make entering the awards an embedded part of the Graphic Design 3, Creative Entrepreneurs program every year.
The graphic design students submitted proposals based around their final year coursework, where students are required to develop a brand around a line of products they design and create. Both students utilised the resources made available to them during their multi-disciplinary degree experience.
Kate is developing a home-wares range based on POD fabric printing and Dixie has created a line of digital jewellery.
Well done to everyone involved, as this was a community effort.
