Graphic Design Internship Opportunity
May 2012 22

The Gold Coast Titans are currently seeking an internship in the area of graphic design and multimedia.

The job would entail the whole gamut of graphic design. The full circle of design from concept design through to deep etch elements through to finished art. Including – but not limited to;

  • Flyers – in all sizes
  • Posters – in all sizes
  • Brochures
  • Web art – tiles, flash files, animation, etc
  • Complete booklets
  • Presentation folders
  • Branding guideline documents
  • Display design
  • Supers and text formatting for TVC’s
  • Structure diagrams
  • Corporate plans
  • Media Banners
  • Table menus
  • Screensavers and wallpapers
  • Project design for suite of educational booklets
  • Print advertising
  • Game day marketing collateral
  • eDM design (including coding for HTML)

The role would include liaison with our printers – providing a broader view of paper grading and treatments – something that can be difficult to learn without being in the market place.

The internship would also provide an opportunity to build contacts with suppliers and current media contacts to help build your network.

The position would also work holistically across all club departments – Sales, Marketing, Corporate Hospitality, Sponsorship, CEO’s office, Football, Player management, junior development and Community Departments.

You will have the opportunity to develop portfolio pieces during the internship and would be supplied with samples of your work once printed.

This internship will provide you with a real world view of the fast pace of working within a national sporting framework and all that it entails. The Gold Coast Titans have a very fast moving work environment that is both fun  and challenging. You do not need to have a background knowledge of the team or of the sport itself.

You would be supervised by both The Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager.

The internship is initially available during the mid year break and the work is so varied that you will gain a great cross section of experience.
